Charles Ulrich, IV is a Special Education Teacher for the Coatesville Area School District and has been a member of the Coatesville Family for over 19 years. He has served in various positions during his tenure, such as a Department Head, Student Assistance Program and Crisis Committee Coordinators and PTO President.
Charles attended Lebanon Valley College where he studied Music Education and graduated with a Bachelor of Science and a Bachelor of Arts degree. He later returned earning his Master Degree from Lebanon Valley College as well. In addition to Music, he also obtained his teaching certifications in Special Education and Mid-level Mathematics. Charles is an Eagle Scout with a Gold Palm from Troop 48 in New Holland, PA, where he currently serves as Scoutmaster. Charles joined scouting in 1982 as a Cub Scout in Pack 148 of New Holland, PA and crossed over to the Troop in 1985. He has been a member of the Troop ever since. Charles is a Vigil Honor member of the Order of the Arrow and has served on Conclave Staff and served as Lodge Treasurer. He has also served as Cubmaster for Pack 38 in Ephrata, PA and Pack 148 in New Holland. In addition he has served as District Training Chair for the Horseshoe Trail District as well as Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner and Committee Member for the Conestoga River District. He currently resides in New Holland, PA with his wife Gail and four children Charles V, Carley, Cole, and Carter. Charles V, Cole and Carter are all members of Troop 48. In addition, his daughter is President for her Venturing Crew and also serves on Summer Camp Staff. Charles was excited to represent the Pennsylvania Dutch Council at the 2017 National Scout Jamboree where he served as Scoutmaster for Troop 1333. |
